DIY Hair Highlights
A budget-friendly treatment to try at home
Here's how to do your own natural highlights at home...
Lemons are your hair’s best friend for natural-looking DIY highlights.
Mix a quarter cup of fresh lemon juice with three quarters of a cup of water and pour into a spray bottle. Wet hair with the mixture, but don’t saturate your scalp. Leave it on for two hours, spending 30 minutes of that time with your locks exposed to the sun (though not between 11am and 3pm). Rinse, then wash and condition as usual.
Tip: Condition before you try this trick as lemon juice can dry out your hair. Also try chamomile tea for a gorgeous golden look. Brew a pot, let it cool, then rinse damp hair in it (after washing and conditioning). Let it dry in the sun, but avoid midday heat.

This is a great idea, I am defenitly trying this one.
Would the tea work on brown hair?
Great article... Its good to use old style sometimes.
i know vinegar works great on dark hair, although it may smell like vinegar for a bit
