Easy up do

1. Slick down the area around the hairline with a styling cream for smoothness. Pull hair back into a high ponytail.
2. Grabbing sections of hair, fan ponytail out. (It should look full and puffy.) Use clips to secure random pieces of hair all around the head.

3. Continue twisting and pinning until you’ve created the shape you like. Dress up the look with a headband or jewelled clip.

Chic short hair

1. Starting at your forehead, curl the hair at the top in a horizontal row, working back in five-centimetre sections. Ta-da! Volume.

2. Make two diagonal parts going from the crown down to each ear. Twist the back section and tuck the ends under; secure with pins.

3. Comb the sides straight back and gently smooth back the curled hair on top. Set it all in place with styling gel or hairspray.

Bun on top

1. Tie hair back into a high ponytail with an elastic band. Brush the strands so they’re smooth and tangle-free.

2. Grab the base of the ponytail, below the elastic, with your left hand. Take your right hand and bring the ponytail around, making a loop. Pull the tail end through the loop to create a loose knot
3. Fold the loose ends of the tail around the bun and secure with clips. Mist with hairspray.
