The best advice to be had in this department is to get to know your ingredient listings and always check the first five ingredients. The higher on the list an item appears, the more prevalent it is in the product and, for skin, glycerine, lanolin and panthenol are hard-working ingredients. Tracey Rowles, group brand manager at Inco Labs, reiterates: “It’s worth considering the brands found at your corner chemist or local Pick n Pay.
