What you need to know if you're in search of complexion perfection...

Find someone you trust and stick with them.
"Allow them to work on your skin's condition for a period of time because the best results aren't going to happen instantaneously; it's a long-term process."

Go to someone who looks at you holistically.
"Did the facialist ask you to fill out a thorough consultation card? Were they very upfront with you and did they give you realistic expectations? The key is to find someone who looks at the whole picture."

Be careful when someone gives you a guarantee that a product will cure everything.
"All skin is different. What works for someone else might not work for you. There's a bit of trial and error involved."

Don't bombard your skin with new products.
"The trick is to prepare your skin to adapt to a new range. Start slowly. If you get a skin reaction and have started many different products all at once, you'll have no idea which product is causing it."

Make it a regular date.
"You know facials are working for you when you feel you don't really need one by the time your appointment rolls around. This is an indication that your skin is in optimal condition and your products are working for you."
