Lingerie For Your Body Type
We know lace and frills makes us all feel oh-so sexy, but when it's highlighting your not-so-lovely bits it can be oh-so unflattering. We asked the experts what lingerie you should be wearing to highlight your good points. For more must-have lingerie see the July issue of Women's Health.
If you're pear-shaped you have a smaller upper body and a larger lower body.
What's Best For You? The goal for you is to balance your body. "The key here is to draw attention to the top half of your body," says Women's Health fashion editor, Mari Groenewald. "You can either do this by choosing a push-up style bra or a bra with embellished detail."
For women with large thighs and hips a high-cut brief is best as it will make your legs look longer and slimmer.
"Choose a darker bottom and maybe wear it with a bright colour on top," says Mari. "There are some fun sets around that combine striped tops or fun polka dots with darker solid-colour bottoms."
The Experts Recommend...
Lorna Parsons from Treasure Chest says: "If you're pear-shaped you need to boost your bust by wearing fitted tops. Make the most of your sexy curves with a beautiful lacy bra with a matching thong."
Triumph suggests you try shape-wear panty that will hold your tummy in, shape your waist, and support your butt.
La Senza recommends their Itec push-up bra with built-in push-up and deep-plunge for sexy cleavage and a dramatic lift, as well as their wide-lace waist thong to play down your bottom half.
Jockey suggests their No-Panty-Line Promise French cut which is high-cut on the leg and has a waistband that fits a natural waistline.
Hot Tip: Fashion and lifestyle blogger, GlossaryGirl says: "A padded push-up bra with bow-trimmed straps will do wonders for balancing out your curvier bottom half. Keep your knickers simple and opt for something frilly and fabulous on top!"
The Worst Buy? A big full brief.
Best Buy? A corset with a back or front lace-up.

hi
How do i get weekly updates emailed to me like my friend Ron?
Thank you
It is just a pity that we bigger busted girls always have to settle for granny style bras as there is only these heavy padded push up bras in the shop for small busted girls. I would love to wear nice lingerie that makes me feel sexy and womanly without everything popping out, but it is a nightmare to go bra shopping for my size. (34D)
I feel your pain! I have exactly the same problem... I just cant find a nice bra that fits properly Im also a 34D... wonderbra use to have the rounded range which fitted very nice but I cant find these in any shops... they dont respond to request on there website and there is no contact number for them.... how do you get hold of wonderbra? Can anyone perhaps help me with this I would do anything to get my hands on those bras!! (the rounded range)
