Salt-Free Ways to Flavour Your Food

Women's Health

Our seasoning of choice is usually salt, but as mentioned in a previous post, having too much salt may lead to serious health problems. So as part of keeping our bodies well and healthy, we need to keep an eye on our salt intake. Also less healthy foods are often high salt foods too, which means healthy eating goes hand-in-hand with low-salt eating.

Plan Your Meals To Lose Weight

Berries

Setting up goals is an important step to maintaining your weight. One step is to plan your meals in advance. Sit down and plan a menu for the next week or two. Take out your family recipe books and see how you can adjust the recipe to be more figure friendly. Work out a shopping list from the menu you have planned and shop for your groceries from that list. This will not only save you a ton of money as it will prevent impulse buying, but it will also control what you eat.

Eat This Before You Pop That Pill

Eat, fitness, Women's Health

Signing up to do a race is a great way to challenge yourself to get fitter or achieve a personal goal. But when it comes to weight loss, it's not just about challenging yourself with exercise, but eating right as well. Omega 3 fatty acids are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids needed by the body to maintain proper function and health. They’re called essential, because unlike most of the other fatty acids, our bodies are not able to make these, which means it’s essential that we get them from our diets.

Abs, Women's Health

Having a surfboard flat stomach is only a dream for the majority of us, including myself. We spend hours in the gym trying to achieve the elusive ‘six pack’.
