If you're anything like me, you're finding it quite hard to get stuck into work. Right? With all the flags and excitement and noise and gees, I'd rather be cruising the vibe than sitting behind a computer screen. So I've come up with work that's not strictly, er, work. I've created a fantasy league for Women's Health readers...

Feeling hungry? You might, then, have been looking at the food pages in our March issue. Seared beef fillet with pomegranate, mint and red onion... sweet potato, butternut and carrot kebabs with Brazil nut pesto... blueberry and goji berry muffins... Mmm. How can you resist any of that?

It's been a long time coming, the next issue of Women's Health, and we've lost count of how many times you've asked us when it'll be out. So here's the inside scoop: we have three more pages to sign off, and then the March issue heads to the printers. You'll have to be patient, though: it goes on sale on 24 February.

Today I've been inundated with phone calls, text messages and emails – it's my birthday, and facebook hasn't let anyone forget it. (Thanks all for the wishes!) As I was reading my wall on facebook, I came across this video , posted by a friend...

So, tomorrow is IT – the day the first issue of Women's Health goes on sale. I don't mean to harp on about it, but it really is exciting – we've been working on the launch of this magazine for almost a year, and to see it all printed and bound is pretty amazing (if you go to our facebook page you'll see some of the stories inside the mag). I'm really proud of what we've created, and hope you enjoy the read.

I'm just back from a yoga class. Oh, the bliss! It's amazing what a few shoulder-stands can do.
It's been a while since I've made it to a class - meetings and deadlines managed to get in the way - and I'd forgotten how hard it actually is. Not the twisting and torture of trying to touch my toes (which I still can't do). What I find hard is focusing. Concentrating. Being completely aware of different parts of my body: the space between my shoulder blades, the tilt of my hips, keeping my fingers straight, or focusing on each individual vertebra. It's a workout for my mind as well as my body.

Today is a big day. A BEEEG day. We’re just a few hours away from sending the very first issue of Women’s Health to the printers.
It’s been quite a process, I have to be honest (I haven’t ridden my bike for far too long, and I’ve drunk far too many cups of coffee) but the magazine is looking incredible. I’m truly proud of the team, and can’t wait to hear what readers think of the first issue. Please do let us know!
