Choosing The Perfect Weight-Loss Diet
Is That Diet Really For You?
Due to the large amount of conflicting information about weight loss, it may be very daunting to choose the best diet that fits perfectly with you.
Ideally before starting a weight-loss program, speak to your doctor first. Any medical conditions and problems need to be taken into account first. Your doctor may be able to refer you to a registered dietician or a weight-loss support group.
You need to take into consideration your personal preferences, lifestyle and weight goals. When choosing a diet that fits all these needs consider factors such as: past diets, personality, budget and special needs.
Take into account the diets you have tried in the past and why they did or did not work for you and what you liked or disliked about them. Consider if you prefer to diet on your own or do you prefer the support from a weight-loss group.
Does the cost of the program fit your budget? You need to consider if any supplements need to be bought and if you can sustain such a diet on your budget. Specific cultural or ethnic requirements and preferences need to be considered, as well as any underlying medical conditions.
A diet should include foods that you like and would enjoy eating the rest of you life, foods should be easily available. Recommendations to increase physical activity should be included.
Keep in mind just because your friends are following a certain weight-loss plan does not mean it is safe or it will work for you. Ask yourself these questions first: what does the diet consist of? Who created the diet? What are the risks? And finally what are the results?

I am in a predicament..... I need to lose a lot of weight, I mean about between 40kg and 50kg. I am 21 years old and I cannot be the fat girl anymore.. I don't know what to do. I drink a lot of water every day and swap my meals around (breakfast cereal for dinner and dinner for breakfast) this seems to help a bit but still not getting very far. I have a very small budget so going to the gym is out and using supplements and so on I can do but they will have to be very cheap… Ladies PLEASE help me
