A: The one good thing about the sisters Kardashian is through all the craziness, their hair always looks amazing. Yes, they’re all genetically blessed with glossy, thick manes of rich brunette hair but those gals always seem to get those sexy waves they sport absolutely perfect. Ok, so they have a team of stylists, but there is a fool-proof way of creating hot Hollywood hair (think unconstructed waves) that requires just three tools: a medium-sized curling iron, a bottle of firm-hold hair spray and some hair grips.

This is a look I create all the time when I need a bit of extra volume and it’s quick-sticks to do. My best tip to do curl day-old hair (in other words wash your hair the day before you curl).

First, spray on your hair spray to the mid-lengths and ends only and wait a couple of minutes for your locks to dry.

Next, curl hair, small section by section, and pin each section to your head with a hairgrip as you go. The reason for this is so the curls cool down before they hang loose and therefore, set.

Once your hair is curl and pinned up, wait half an hour to make sure your curls are cold. Next, unpin, tousle with your fingers and then just let your curls be. I always sleep on the curls and the next morning, I have sexily wavy hair that doesn’t look too much like a mass of bouncy curls. That would not be good. And not very Kardashian.

Tip: If the day after you’re needing to wash your hair but don’t have time to restyle your waves, simply pull hair into a messy-looking pony with flicked out ends.
