Q: Are Dairy Products Fattening and Unhealthy?
A: Low-fat and fat-free milk, yoghurt, and cheese are just as nutritious as full-cream dairy products, but they are lower in fat and therefore lower in energy.
Dairy products have many nutrients your body needs on a daily basis. They offer protein to build muscles and help organs work properly and calcium to strengthen bones. Most milks and some yoghurts are fortified with vitamin D to help your body utilise the calcium more effectively.
