I spotted some interesting bits and pieces last month, while attending JHB Fashion Week from 16-19 February and thought I'd share them with you!

Being based in Cape Town, I always find it fascinating how the Joburg girls do it. High heels, red lips, asymmetrical hair cuts (and dresses) seem to be de rigueur. Us laid-back girls can learn a thing or two!

Leopard print and contemporary design..... SA is on it!

You can feel the excitement 'behind' and ‘on' the stage. Designers Lisp and Spero Villioti keeps us on the edge of our seats.

Malcolm Kluk and Christiaan Gabriel du Toit chose the very grand Rand Club as their venue. Their fashion was a melting pot of eclectic style and ladylike charm. The bonus? Servings of the best Pasteis de Nata made sure they seduced all our senses.

My absolute favourite: Abigail Betz's 1950's inspired ladies, the mysterious atmosphere of the JAG (JHB Art Gallery) . Left me longing for more!

I came back very inspired and loving being a lady!!
