Calling All Ethnic Skin Tones
GloMinerals have developed a range of products specifically designed to enhance ethnic skin tones. If not chosen properly, foundation and many other tones used on African skin can look ashy and grey. Undertones tend to have different colour variances ranging from light to dark, so you may need to blend and mix a range of shades for different areas of the face.

For the eyes: skip neutral tones as these won’t make your eye colour stand out. Instead, choose tones like: grey, black, burgundy and plum.

For the lips: deep colours like brown and deep reds look most natural. Bright colours tend to stand out too much and look severe.

For the cheeks: deep berry and plum tones will look natural and enhance your cheekbones. Lighter tones tend to leave that unpleasant ashy effect on the skin.

GloMinerals is available at Wellness Warehouse and Selected Beauty Salons, call +27 21 552 6669 for further info.
