Q: Help, I Want To Build Muscle
Q: I'm a size 28 and I'm a bit short I would love to gain some nice firm muscle at least a size 32. I am too lean please help!
A: Someone once told me that if you want to be an Olympic champion you need to choose your parents wisely! Genetics. Unfortunately, or fortunately for some, genetics plays a huge role in our body structure. Therefore, I don't think that you will be able to change your body structure to a large extent.
That being said, it will be useful for you to train and build muscle. I would suggest that you meet with a qualified exercise professional to have a strength program drawn up for your needs. This will help you to feel less “lean” and more “muscular” or strong. This program should include weight training containing fewer reps with a heavier weight to help you build muscle.
Also when you start the new program you are going to need to look at your diet to make sure you are eating the correct foods to complement this program. This will assist in your quest and I believe it is vital to see a dietician for this purpose as well.
