how to get rid of cellulite
Q: Can I Be Free Of Cellulite?
Q: Please suggest workouts that can help me tone cellulite problem areas. Can I ever be free of cellulite?
A: Yes, you can be free of cellulite. Its not an easy thing to do. It requires hard training and a consistent amount of training but it is possible. I have answered a question on cellulite before here, it might answer some more of your questions.
Essentially, the key to ridding cellulite is losing excess fat as well as toning. Therefore, along with strength training, be sure that you are doing enough cardio. Also you might be hitting a plateau and therefore won’t be seeing any results, unless you keep mixing things up.
You need to understand that there are no exercises that are going to target cellulite in particular; it’s rather the combination of losing fat (cardio) and building muscle (strength training) which helps lose the dimples. Usual strength exercises for lower body can include things like squats, lunges, step-ups and hamstring curls.
Also, on that point, give it time. You are not going to lose all the cellulite in the first few months, but keep it up and you will soon see the rewards.

I think a lot of women are quite sceptical when it comes to minimising cellulite... I can truly say that gym reduced my cellulite beyond my expectations! But it is as Shona says - it's hard work (including strength training) and doesn't happen over night. It took me about 3 months to get to a point of having no cellulite and having buttocks more perky than at high school! :-)
I go to gym a lot and do cardio and strength training but cant seem to get rid of the cellulite and fatty bits under my bum and on the side..I also do the circuit and enjoy running. Are there any other exercises I should add that would be more effective?? I also enjoy coffee about 3cups a day..must I cut that out?? What foods should I cut out totally and what should I add to my diet..please help!!! thanks
