Q: I'm not a huge fan of still water and I struggle to drink my two litres a day, but I can easily do it if I'm drinking sparkling – is it bad to drink sparkling?

A: Sparkling water is plain water into which carbon dioxide gas has been dissolved. Sparkling water is water. Whatever form of water you drink, it is still healthy. The only water you need to avoid is the flavoured water with added sugars, they contribute to increased calories in your diet. You can safely drink two litres of sparkling water per day.
