Three Tips For Beautiful Hair
Three Ways To Gloss Up Your Locks
No matter what the hair trends, shiny, healthy-looking tresses never go out of fashion. So forget the 'latest look' and rather think beautiful glossy locks.
Add Oil
This suggestion may seem like I've gone a little mad. Oil has for years been a very dirty work when it comes to skin and hair care. But, guess what? Your hair needs it. For a high-shine finish wear your hair super straight and infused with an oil-based treatment (use as a serum on your lengths and ends) like Kerastase Elixir Ultime, R400 (call 0861 113 969 for stockists).
Ride The Waves
A head full of soft bouncy waves looks sexy and the volume creates a healthy hair look. Well-prepped hair is the order of the day, so use a priming product such as Sebastian Whipped Crème, R315 (visit www.sebastianprofessional.co.za for stockists) for air-light bounce and fullness.
Care For Your Colour
Colour treatments in-salon mean time and money so protect your investment and boost shine with a hair mask such as L'Oreal Professionnel Vitamino Colour Masque, R225 (call 0861 113 911 for stockists) after every wash. Tip: use a mask on your lengths and ends only if your hair is prone to oiliness or limpness.
About this blog

Hello beauty junkies, I’m Helen, a contributing editor for WH and a beauty journalist – a dream job that I’ve had for the past five years. While I’ve always been make-up obsessed, I’m a naturalist; I love make-up that’s completely wearable rather than make-up that completely wears you. I love to share and will be sharing my best new beauty finds and user-friendly tips with you.

I have very thin hair what can I use to make it ticker
You should try Sebastian Professionals Volupt Range. Its a breakthrough hair volume boosting range. You get the shampoo, conditioner and spray.
My hair is thick already, so I don't think I need volume but it doesn't really curl unless wet and I don't know what to do with my hair other than blow it straight or have it up in a ponytail. Any ideas?
Hi,
In your latest issue of WH you had a small feature on Morrocan Oil. I have been searching for this product for so long. Do you know of any stockists in DBN? I have tried the website but it doesnt work.
Please help!
