why you should eat vegetarian sometimes
Q: Will Eating Vegetarian Help?
Q: Are there any benefits to eating vegetarian just one or two days a week?
A: Yes. Being a part-time vegetarian (or flexitarian) helps your bod and the planet. As long as you replace that steak with fruit, vegetables, nuts and whole grains (as opposed to chocolate muffins), you'll reap the benefits of eating less saturated fat and more nutrients, antioxidants and fibre.
And cutting back even a little on animal products helps protect the environment by reducing the massive amounts of energy used, and greenhouse gases produced, during livestock and dairy farming.

I have been thinking of doing a 30 day vegan trial.. to see what its like and if I feel more energised and healthy. I am not a vegetarian but I know that my digestion and metabolism is better when I eat a predominently veggie diet. Would you say there is anything negative/bad about eliminating animal products ? I know they provide a great deal of protein but I also know that a lot of vegetables are loaded with protein and iron. What is your take on this?
