I find it really tricky dressing up at night in winter. (Let’s face it; slippers and pj's actually have the most appeal when it’s cold). It's so easy to throw on a sparkly top in summer and pair it with, well anything really... My favourite find this week is ideal for slipping over your cozy winter layers.

This little vintage inspired bib necklace (a bargain at R170) is from a gem of a shop, Sass Diva (+27 11 273 0400 or +27 21 555 4988) and is the perfect style problem solver for me. Whatever I wear it with it looks like I’ve made an effort and as I’ve discovered it’s the best way to take a little black dress to the next level.

Bonus Point: It also adds a quirky touch to a more daytime knit-and-jeans ensemble. Hurray for hard-working fashion trends!
