I'm just back from a yoga class. Oh, the bliss! It's amazing what a few shoulder-stands can do.
It's been a while since I've made it to a class - meetings and deadlines managed to get in the way - and I'd forgotten how hard it actually is. Not the twisting and torture of trying to touch my toes (which I still can't do). What I find hard is focusing. Concentrating. Being completely aware of different parts of my body: the space between my shoulder blades, the tilt of my hips, keeping my fingers straight, or focusing on each individual vertebra. It's a workout for my mind as well as my body.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, give yoga a try. We've got plenty of poses and sequences on our yoga section . We give you ways to stay calm in traffic, moves that'll fight cellulite and tricks to help you sleep better.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to put my feet up.
