Jumping around at that varsity music concert did more than scare security; it built power in your legs. That's because explosive moves (plyometrics) increase strength and help your body absorb impact to prevent injuries. Warm up for 10 minutes and do two sets of eight reps twice a week.

Vertical jumps
Stand with your legs shoulder-width apart and your arms slightly in front of you. Squat down about 45 degrees (A) and jump up as high as you can (B). Land on the balls of your feet, but make sure your whole foot touches the ground before repeating immediately.

Hi,
My legs are bigger than my body but they are still firm but there is some fat that is building up just below my knees. now I need to wear a 3-quarter skirt on pants while my legs look beautiful when I wear something that ends on my knees or top or I rather wear long pants or skirts. Can you give me the tips to burn the fat otherwise the gym is working out my legs I used to not wear long boots non-stretchy) but I have the size for my legs.

To be toned always depends on 2 things: 1) How strong your muscles are and 2) How much (or little) fat you have in those areas. To burn lots of kilojules and get rid of fat, do lots of cardio and eat lean. Any strengthening excercise will make your muscles stronger. For upper legs try, squats, lunges, deadlifts and weight machines at gym. Try doing at least 3 sets of 12-15 reps of 3 different exercises, 3 times a week to get results. Hope this helps :-)

I would like your advice on exercises that work your inner thighs more so they have less fat and become toned as well as exercises for the buttocks that makes it lift up and become smaller. I run a lot but these are some of my problem areas.

Ever tried the 'yes no' machine at gym? It's called the adductor machine. Ask someone at the gym to help you.

My quads, hamstrings are toning up fine. Ive been working on the stepper and following amy dixon dvd's. So it should cover most muscle areas. However Im struggling to tone up in the area just below my bum/glute and just above the hamstrings. And im not sure what exercise will help.

for that area below your bum, try ballet based exercises, like the plie squat ( a turned out squat) and squeeze that area as you lift up, or even try doing rises on your toes, squeezing your bum down as you do it...
I would like to bulk up my legs, they are nicely shaped but they are skinny, i bought a mini stepper will it help bulking up my legs and will it make my bum bigger?
