the calculator for the men's one is way off, my brother is 72kgs and waist is 80cms, and it says his body fat results is 380.84%....... please fix it.
HAHAHAHA....would LOVE to know the theory behind this one..
now this is a lot of crap, i am a fitness instructer and i no ways to take body fat and this aint one of them, come on WH you can do so much beter.......
This is not accurate at all! Im a competitive fitness athlete and this puts my body fat at about 8% more than what it is when I measure it with my trainer.
As a Health magazine you should be far more sensitive to your readers and ensure that your results are accurate as you may be “supplying” someone who already has a low self body image with ammunition to do herself more harm.
I cannot believe that somebody who weighs 55kg with a height of 1.6m can have a body fat calculation of 25.66%. I recommend that you need to take into account a person’s height in your methodology as this will give your readers a more accurate result. We use the most accurate body fat calculator (according to Google), and as recommended by the US Navy. The result is a more accurate 18%
i have aneroxia and something like this can push me over the edge... how can u advertise to your readers to use a tool that is clearly not accurate. i am extremely upset. to everyone who has an eating disorder, please please do not use this tool! very dissapointing womens health, i will not read your magazine or believe anything you print again.
Not too accurate...
total rubbish
I am happy with results. I am a bit over what is normal, and i know that.
Wow! Ive just read all the comments on this site. Im a Qualified BTC/BMI Analysis. How you calulate their BMI ? Trust me! a lot more goes into it..to get their BMI..Then you got to do their 'girth' measurements, to give them a full body analysis, or you gonna have very upset readers, as I can see. Im glad im not that Health Analysis. Get your self another one if I was this magazine.
