Jeans That Fight Cellulite

Women’s denim is shaping up your bottom half in a new way. Adding cosmetic ingredients to fabric can address skin concerns such as dryness, cellulite, and stretch marks. Aloe is added to Mohicano brand jeans for an increase in skin moisture and stimulation of collagen and cell growth.

Skin hydration was increased by 11.5% when wearing the jeans for a two-week period. These skin benefits can last through 40 washes. Wrangler’s Denim Spa Collection includes jasmine scented jeans infused with olive oil extracts. Over 65 percent of women who tested these believed their thighs looked better after wearing the jeans every day for four weeks. Lasting 4-6 washes, the fabric can be reactivated by spraying on additional extracts.

LeRock, an Italian brand, claims that their denim treated with caffeine, horse chestnut, and vitamin E can actually reduce hips and thighs by two centimetres each time they are worn. Microcapsules release the additives as the wearer moves about. These jeans must be recharged with their cosmetic additives on a monthly basis.

Retail prices on these cosmetic denim brands range from R680 to R2200.
