Healthy Breakfast Wrap
Your Weekend Breakfast
This breakfast wrap is as healthy as it gets.
We know you know, but seriously, eat breakfast every single day. If you don't, your body goes into starvation mode, and your metabolism slows to a crawl to conserve energy. And the heartier your first meal is, the better.
This comfort-food favourite will stick to your ribs until lunch. The egg whites and low-fat cheese make this meal low on the bad-for-you metre, but when it comes to flavour, it tops the charts.
Breakfast Wrap
Serves 2, total time 15 minutes
Ingredients
4 tbsp salsa
1/2 C shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
1/2 C fresh coriander
2 large eggs, plus 4 large egg whites, beaten
1 C diced lean ham
2 large wraps (you can get them from Woolies)
Directions
In a non-stick skillet coated with cooking spray, saute the diced ham over medium-high heat, just until the surface starts to brown. Place the cooked ham in the wrap, then add more cooking spray to the skillet and scramble the eggs together with the coriander. Add the eggs to the wrap, top with the cheese and salsa, and fold.

Have already tried this. VERY YUMMY!!! And keeps you full 'till midday!!
sounds divine. the only thing is that i do not eat ham or any other meats with cheese or milk products because of my religion.
can u suggest any other alternatives to ham?
thank u.
looking forward to hearing from u.
Excellent recipe! For Marian Marks - Use a fleshy veg like mushrooms or baby brinjal instead of ham and for those who still like the flavour of bacon but can't eat it, then there's a halall product called Macon that's a really nice alternative.
Can you please provide the nutritional content for this?
