The Non-Salad Salad
The I’m-not-eating-salad salad – packed with grilled chicken, green pepper, Parmesan, flaxseed and carrots.
This salad packed with grilled chicken and Parmesan is simply yum!
What You Need:
90g grilled chicken breast
1 cup romaine lettuce
1 tomato, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium carrot, chopped
3 tbsp reduced-oil salad dressing or 1 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
How?
- Chop the chicken into small pieces.
- Mix all the ingredients together and store in the fridge.
Makes 1 serving
Make it a meal
Add one cup cooked quinoa, mixed with torn basil leaves, and this fresh and fast meal comes in under 1 500kJ.
