If I'm with someone I truly believe he is the one,I think proposing to him is best. I've done it but my boyfriend turned me down.

Right? Let’s see, so I asked my boyfriend out and we have been together for thirteen years, but I would like him to pop the question! I mean I asked the dude out in the first place – don’t think this should be a task for me.

no i wouldnt. women are born ready to marry,start a family, ect for a guy it takes a lot for him to decide and propose, so i wouldnt want to pressurise him by asking, i rather he do it, then i know for sure its what he wants and not that he decides coz i asked. many wont aggree bt this i strongly beleive in and i wud never.

I also think its his job entirely.

If he wants to propose he will. If not he won't.

If he does not even have enough love/will to ask the question - how can one hope he has enough love/will to last a 50yr marriage?

Our lot is simple - to answer the question Yes / No, or to walk away if he deems us not good enough to ask.

I made the first move with my boyfriend, and we have been together for 8 years. So many people ask us when we're getting married, and we always say 'when we feel the time is right'. There is no rush, after all...

And I would rather that he asks me! :)

i belive its a man s job to ask a lady to marry him no matter how much you love, been raised by strick parents and very tradtional even thou i grew up in the city something should never be changed and culture is culture.

sometimes, not always, but sometimes traditional overrules. il wait for him to pop the question.
