I agree. Don't glamourise affairs.

Don't quite see how this question glamourises or promotes affairs...It's just a question for crying out loud!
By Anonymous (not verified) on 2010-12-23 09:20
A question that just makes affairs seem more acceptable, if they have done it i could too, right?

This is a sick world we live in.

What happened to the good values of the people of our country?

How on earth does this poll glamourise or promotes affairs?? I also don't see the connection. Just because something is bad it does not mean we should not speak about it.

It's reality, face it. I don't think WH is promoting affairs...
By Anonymous (not verified) on 2011-01-04 14:02
Would you want to know... not act on it. PLEASE !
By Anonymous (not verified) on 2011-01-05 11:29
oh dont be silly, how is talking about something promoting it? My goodness, should we all live in our little nut shells and not talk about anything real? Affairs are a reality. Its as stupid as saying the news is promoting violence.

Yes I've had an affair...a steamy one at that. It all was (at the time) a garden or roses.Would I do it again, I don't know but it sure was good and kept me on my wits all the time.
I don't see why we shouldn't talk about reality cos some people are in denial.
By Anonymous (not verified) on 2011-01-06 19:34
Why not an option for "haven't had an affair" as well - then it would have had a more interesting result.

People will have affairs if they want to. No article or question can make anyone do anything they do not want. Its ones own choice. This is a fact and these things happen. These Questions are asked so they can derive stats to advise people how to spice up one love life so not to have the affairs as yo may see in the sex advice tips.

Having an affair at the time makes you feel sensual and raises your self esteem. (Why?? I have no idea.) It is exciting and adventurous, BUT in the long run you WILL feel absolutely guilt ridden, worthless and you will regret it. The ramifications are endless, to all the parties involved. It is not worth all the pain caused.... If it's excitement you're looking for try sky diving, if you are looking for an ego boost take up a healthy lifestyle and know that the boost is real.
Affairs - DON'T do it... Don't!

Trust is one of the biggest gifts someone can give you once that is gone what else is left...My advice is don't p...ss on it...

I agree, talking about affairs will only open us all up if it should happen to us, sign to look for, tones to listen for.
So dont act all innocent as out would is not.. Look at reality and you will see affairs are not a thing of the passed but what is happening right now, the women sitting next to you could be going through an affair with her partner, or she could be having affair but cant even talk to a friend because you are all narrow minded

Wow, is it guilt that I hear from the first few posts?
I mean really how is asking "Have You Ever Had An Affair With.." a promotional or suggestive statement.
It seems January is not only bad for our pockets but for both the grasp of the english language and logic as well.
PS: Polls are used for research in order to determine what is going on around us. Big up WH it seems you've managed to stir some guilty parties and entertain us in one go!!!

Yes i have .I was single at the time .He was a longtime ex-boyfriend but was married.I think there was just a need for closure on my side as the reason fo our breakup all those years ago was not our choice but more because family members ended up gettin involve. So i can say that when i saw him again after 3 years i knew that i was not totally over him.And when i heared that he married one of the people i probably disliked the most when we were still together i wanted to prove to myself that if i wanted i could still have him.And she would not even know about it not that i cared if she did.

Oh please i can bet all the ones nagging about the questions HAS HAD THEIR FARE SHARE OF AFFAIRS.No one is perfect and thinking about an affair is just as good as having one.

The only reason why men have affairs are because they do not get the satisfaction at home, which in turn they have to show the love and respect in order to have a good healthy sex life.

I had an affair with my husbands best friend and it devastated so many people! I will regret it for the rest of my life. At the time it was so exciting and i never really realised the implications. But I think it's a good thing to talk about it, because not everyone that has an affair is a bad person....
