The kilos will melt off once you kick the following five bad food habits...
New Habit: Eating only when you're hungry. When you're feeling anxious, it's not a good idea to eat a high-carb snack (like chips), as it will produce a tension-relieving serotonin rush, says dietician Charlene Giovanelli-Nicolson. Problem is, it will be followed by a blood sugar crash that will leave you craving more.
Try This: Keep a clear container on your desk. Start a monetary rewards box; every time you want to snack, add R2 to R5 (or the cost of the snack) to the box, says Giovanelli-Nicolson. The growing pile of cash will be a reminder that you can overpower those urges. When you have enough money saved, use the cash to splurge on a non-food reward like a facial or a new bag.

Thank you very much to WH and your creative team that help us to keep motivated.
I read alot of your advise and use what I think applies to me. I am curious about one thing though, the advise as well as any weight loss programs and training programs ALWAYS inform you to eat less, take appetite suppressors, burn fat, don't eat overeat when you're stressed, etc. but no one ever touches on those individuals that DON'T eat enough???
I know that your body goes into starvation mode where your body turns your food into fat when you eat in order to provide it with energy until your next meal. I have a problem where I don't eat enough. When I stress or worry or anything, I don't eat. I can very easily forget to eat most of the day and then at night, I couldn't be bothered to cook. I will force myself to eat when the headaches start but that was about it.
Over about 3 years, I gained more and more weight until end of 2009 i decided to make a change. I joined the gym and subscribed to WH. The gym worked out an eating plan where I found myself eating 5 to 8 meals and snacks a day which combined with my exercises, ensured that I lost 12kg.
Please can you do an article for us too?
Thank you,

I really like the tips you provide! Here's another one thats fun to try: many overeaters don't know how to identify true hunger, so the next time you go out for dinner, or especially with the festive feasts coming up, copy a thin person's habits at the table. Watch how much they eat in a portion and simply imitate them. That will give you an idea of how much you should be eating! It's hard, but it's a good thing to know how much is too much.
If you need help to stop overeating, please go to www-get-thin-for-good.com. We help you by changing the way you relate to food, which is the root cause of overeating.
These tips about loosing weight aren't good. I know some people who kept these advice and they still got fat. Why? Because exercising is everything. Of course that a person should have limits when it comes to food, but without some gymnastics all the efforts are in vain. So if you want to look good wash the dishes, take the garbage to the junk removal north Vancouver, climb the stairs, walk to work, walk the dog, do jogging after work instead of watching a movie and so on. Every action makes a difference.
