Focus on You, Lose Weight
Losing weight isn't just about the diet itself but also emotional and overall wellness. Self nurturing is an essential part of feeling good about yourself and will in turn translate into weight-loss goals.
In our current time-scarce world, time for yourself may seem like an impossible goal. Do you ever feel like you can't get through everything you need to every day, never mind make time for yourself? Many people do, but self nurturing is required for physical, spiritual and emotional wellness. Self nurturing is not a luxury but a necessity. If you are not able to take time for yourself, and fill up, what quality of yourself are you able to offer to others?
Self sacrifice and putting your spouse, family, job and friends first may work in the short-term; but in the medium- to long-term, it may lead to you becoming overwhelmed, stressed, depleted, angry and resentful. This may lead to eating poorly, or even ‘comfort eating’.
Self nurture enables you to recharge yourself so that you are in a much better position to cope. It is good for your immune system, good for your relationships and good for yourself. You choose what to prioritise and what to commit to. In the busyness of your life, it is essential for you to schedule in time for yourself.

Eating a healthy balanced meal can boost your mood as opposed to junk food, which according to recent studies, can actually make you depressed. If you eat healthy you are also less likely to have that afternoon slump that comes from a junk-food diet high in carbohydrates.

Tip: Start in the Morning
Breakfast is a very important meal of the day, as it breaks the night long fast your body has been through. It also helps to improve the body’s metabolism. Unfortunately, it is the one meal that people are most likely to miss each day because they are in a rush to get to work. Others miss breakfast in an effort to lose weight. But, breakfast can easily be incorporated into a busy lifestyle and it can aid in a sensible weight loss regimen.

I do long distance running, and I've recently started with a bit of weight training as well and I follow a healthy eating plan.
However, there is no action around my waistline. I do the crunches, the leg raises ect, but yet i still look and feel bloated/ puffy.
If I wear a T-Shirt, I feel urghhhh!
What else should I do?
