COW FACE POSE
Cow Face
Gomukhasana
Benefits: Stretches shoulders, chest, armpits, hips, ankles
Helps: Poor posture, tight shoulders
- Start sitting with your legs straight in front of you.
- Bend your right leg in and cross it over your left. Bend your left leg in, stacking your knees and placing your left foot next to your right hip.
- Bend your right elbow up to face the ceiling, palm on your back. Bend your left elbow so your hand points to the floor, palm facing out.
- Reach your hands toward each other, clasping them if possible. If not, grab hold of your shirt or use a strap to stretch your shoulders.
- Fold forward over your knees.
