Lateral Bend And Reach

Works core, shoulders, hamstrings, and inner thighs.

Grab a pair of dumbbells and stand with your feet about four feet apart. Turn your left foot out 90 degrees. Raise your right arm straight up above your shoulder, palm facing in (A). Brace your abs and bend to the left, lowering the left dumbbell to your left ankle (B). Rise back up, keeping your right arm overhead. Do 12 to 15 reps, then repeat on the other side. Do three sets, resting for up to 30 seconds between sets.

I have attended a few yoga classes in the south of johannesburg, however due to time constrtaints and studies, I find it difficult travelling to and fro to the gym class. I am contemplating doing yoga at home and require prescribed yoga dvds that I my purchase. Any suggestions, as at the moment most of my yoga exercises either come out the Women Health magazine or the Shape magazine. I would appreciate either online purchase options or stores (preferably around jhb) that I may acquire them Ta U

I just want to thank your team for such a good book, I use to read Mans Health before you introduced Woments Health and my friends use to ask me what is with this mans health others use to even doubt if i am straight or not but it is because of the health information that is in these magazine, I was so happy when I saw the advert about the Womens Health Magazine I couldn't wait for my first issue, its worth buying it even subscribing for it.
