Women’s Health, hydrated by Powerade with adidas, is looking for SA’s next celebrity trainer — a woman with a powerful fitspo story and the ability to inspire others to get off the couch and embrace an active, healthy lifestyle. The judges have narrowed the search to twelve inspirational women. Now it’s up to you to select the five finalists who will go into the running for the title of 2019 Women’s Health Next Fitness Star.

Meet Meagan Claasen
Lovingly referred to as a life transformation coach by her clients, Meagan is all about helping people. “While the focus may be on your body because, after all, an incredible looking and healthy body is a must for most of us, I’m always there to lend an ear, instil self-belief and assist in any way I can for you to become the confident wonder woman you were destined to be,” she says. Meagan adds that it’s her undeniable love for all things fitness that drives her. “Whenever I walk into the gym, onto a field or start a run or hike, I can’t help but smile. Simply put, fitness ignites this unquestionable excitement and happiness within me.” She shares this happiness with her clients by ensuring that their workouts put them to the test by challenging their bodies.”My workouts are hard, they will make you sweat and make your body feel stiffness you weren’t even aware was possible and my workouts get results.,” she explains.

WORKOUT ROUTINE TIME with @themeaganmethod : • • This is THE WALKOUT and it’s added extras WORKING your : – arms, back and shoulders – abs abs abs ! Core core and more core and lowerback – hamstring, quad, hipfexors and glute stabilizers. Basically a full body set in 5 easy to follow moves : • • There’s 2 rules : 1: keep those legs straight but knees never lock 2: keep the abs and core sucked in and tight in order to protect your lower back and ofcourse work the correct muscles ! • • Here we go : SAY GOODBYE to those love handles 😉 1️⃣ the walkout – plain and simple walk down (dip the bum if strong enough to do so) with your hands and back up to standing 2️⃣ walkout + knee crossover left and right (total cross over – get into those obliques!) – 3️⃣ walkout + total rotation of the arm (stack the shoulders and arms above one another) 4️⃣ walkout + rotation and thread through of the leg – your left hand touches your right toe and visa versa!
