Seriously – it could be as simple as that. According to science, popping a vitamin D supplement may really help ease symptoms. A team at the UK’s University of Sheffield reviewed research on IBS and the vitamin and found many people with the condition were D-deficient. The supps were also linked with better quality of life and improvement in symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating and diarrhoea.
