Yes, chocolate is good for you – if you eat the right kind! Raw cacao is packed with antioxidants, magnesium and B vitamins. Hooray for a healthy take on moreish mousse by celeb foodie and nutrition inspiration Jessica Sepel.
HEALTHY CHOCOLATE ALMOND MOUSSE
What you’ll need:
2 tbsp raw-cacao powder
3 fresh dates, pitted and roughly chopped
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp raw honey
75ml filtered water
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
1/ In a high-powered blender, blitz all the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
2/ Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve chilled topped with blueberries, almonds and mint leaves, if desired.
