“My Boyfriend Doesn’t Know About My Bisexual Past — Should I Tell Him?”

“It’s never come up, but now I’m starting to feel like it’s time to mention it.”
I have no idea how he will react because I do not know your boyfriend. Is he a homophobe? Will it probably make no difference to him? Will he think it’s an invitation to have a threesome? You do know your man (or at least I hope you do), so you are best placed to anticipate his reaction and decide whether this is a good call or not.
Some couples like to share everything about their pasts. Nothing is sacred or off-limits. Whether that works for you is only something you guys will know. Others prefer to leave the past in the past. You had an orgy at varsity? Earplugs! He was once a semi-professional porn star? Satan, rip my ears from my head! Still undecided? Ask yourself a few questions. You refer to your bisexual past. Does that mean it is staying in the past or are you looking to bring it into the present? What would bringing it up now achieve? Will your boyfriend see that as a suggestion to bring someone else into play or is it simply you sharing the rich and varied tapestry of life we are all a part of?
Run through your own intentions and desired outcomes and you’ll know what to do.
