It’s Official, Kate Middleton Made Military Boots Cool Again
We’re used to seeing K. Middy dazzle global crowds with her genuine warm smile, bouncy locks and cool (yet royal approps.) fashion choices. But during the past few appearances we’ve noticed that she’s ditching her signature knee-high stiletto boots for chunkier (and comfier!) military-inspired styles.
And our feet rejoice… Finally, some royal fashion inspo that we can really recreate without feeling like, well, like we’re off to tea with the Queen.

Get The Look
Okay, so what’s the trick? How do you pull off military boots without looking like you’ve just been enlisted?
1. Pick the right pair
The reason we love these CAT Rollcall boots so darn much is because they get the masculine/feminine balance just right. With neat, narrow toes there’s nothing clunky about these boots and you won’t feel like big foot wearing them. Their subtle silver metallic laces also add a softer, feminine touch, while the grey suede and knit detail makes them look more luxe than heavy-duty.
When you’re wearing military boots you are making a statement, so don’t be afraid to carry that all the way through your outfit. Neckachiefs are huge this season, as are berry knits. Both work as great tools to add a few pops of colour to your outfit.
3. Comfort is key
Hey, you’re choosing specifically not to wear stiletto boots, so what’s the point in wearing a pair that aren’t kind to your feet? CAT’s Rollcall boots are really light and offer in-step support. Thanks to their laces they’re also super easy to put on and take off (and to tuck your jeans into).
